Bridgewater Service Controller in M2M Networks
The Bridgewater® Service Controller provides flexible and secure device service control and network attachment needed in machine-to-machine (M2M) networks.
The Service Controller allows for complex, multi-level, multi-factor device authentication to protect device identity and leverage policy for authorization based on multiple parameters. The Service Controller proxies authentication and authorization requests to M2M authentication servers and device management platforms when necessary.
Along with authentication and authorization, the Service Controller generates detailed accounting records allowing for new flexible billing models centered on M2M devices and their unique bandwidth requirements.
