The WideSpan 5000 hardware platform is a fully integrated blade server system built on the Sun Microsystems Netra CT900 Blade Server, the industry’s fastest, densest, most reliable ATCA blade server. WideSpan 5000 combines all the required hardware components — including power distribution units, load balancers, storage disk arrays, and cabling — into a single physical unit.
